Rococo Chair & Ottoman
The rococo armchair and ottoman decorated with elaborated carving in every frame part, from the backrest cresting to the foot. Handmade of mahogany wood, the pieces is made according to the original design of the rococo seats in late baroque periods.
Rococo cresting backrest
The backrest cresting is decorated with roses and leaves carving, joined to the left and right frame with shell carving. Top corner of the backrest carves with leaves to the shell carving at the arm support upholstery.
The front legs are carved elaborately from the arm with flower carving to the knee with shell carving, the cabriole legs end with scroll feet at the bottom. The curves seat apron is decorated with rose carving, joined to the front legs with flower carving decorations. The back legs of the chair is plain in cabriole shape, scroll and cuffed feet.
A true copy of baroque periods seats, elaborate carving, made with attention to detail. I love to see the carving at the apron of the ottoman seat when using it.Customer : Rosihan
We work several pieces of the seats, the chairs in silver leaf gilt and white painted finish. The silver leaf pieces with black fabric, and the white painted pieces with orange black fabric as shown at the photo gallery. The printed grey fabric that applied to the single chair is sent to our workshop by the customer.
